A small scratch turned into a surprisingly smooth fix

I ended up needing Bumper Scuff repair after a tight parking mishap, but what followed was a fairly easy fix that left my car looking back to normal.

It happened near Meadowhall Shopping Centre on a busy afternoon, where I misjudged a tight corner. The scratch looked worse up close, and I knew it needed a decent fix sooner rather than later.

Later that evening, I started looking around online and came across AutoScratch. The process felt easy enough, so I sent over a few images from my phone and got a fair quote within a short time. Booking was easy to confirm, and website I appreciated how I could pick a convenient slot.

On the day, the technician arrived as scheduled and began with a thorough clean of the area. Then came the light sanding, which made the scratch less visible already. A small amount of filler was applied where needed before moving to tone adjustment. Watching the shade comparison was interesting since they worked to ensure it looked natural. The blending stage was handled with attention to detail, and finally everything was polished up to bring back the shine. The whole process felt properly done, and there was no rush despite it being a driveway repair.

By the end, the area looked almost invisible, and unless you knew where to look, it was hard to spot anything had been there. I liked the time saved avoiding a garage visit and how quickly it was all completed. That said, I do think this kind of service is best suited to minor damage rather than anything too deep. Still, for what I needed, it felt like a good middle ground, and I drove away feeling relieved.
